Ellie (Eleanor to her Mum and AHPRA) has over thirty years’ experience in mental health and suicide prevention, both as a clinician and an executive manager. She has wide ranging experience across the mental health sector, developing programs in a not-for-profit environment, clinical nurse management in a range of settings including forensic, regional and a new metro hospital in Perth WA, as well as clinical governance at operational and executive levels in the community sector.
Ellie holds AHPRA registration as a mental health nurse, ATOL Lead Auditor certification in Quality Management Systems and AICG membership. She has worked in the mental health sector in the UK and Western Australia.
Her work passions are prevention of psychological harm in the workplace, supporting burnout recovery and suicide prevention, particularly evidence-based safety planning.
In 2017, whilst working for Lifeline WA, Ellie established the WA State-wide Suicide Prevention network, an online platform to connect people in the suicide prevention sector across Western Australia. It remains in use today as an online collaboration with the Mental Health Professionals Network. Click here to learn more.
